Steve's law practice primarily consists of business law, commercial and residential real estate, and family law.
Steve's business law practice consists of business formation, business asset purchases, business purchases and sales, commercial collection, and business litigation. Steve has a long history of helping his business clients expand their businesses and successfully navigate through complex legal and regulatory issues. Steve also helps his business clients with all of their business contract preparation and review needs.
Steve's real estate practice consists of handling all aspects of commercial real estate purchases and transactions across the State of Ohio, helping clients with residential real estate closings in Columbus and Delaware, filing and removing Mechanic's Liens, helping clients with Homeowners Association and Condominium Owners' Association issues, and helping clients with general real estate disputes and lawsuits. Steve also helps clients form entitities such as LLCs for their income producing property.
Steve has a long and extensive history in family law, helping clients obtain a divorce or dissolution in Columbus or Delaware County Ohio areas, helping clients with child custody cases, and helping clients with post-divorce decree modification issues. Steve has an extensive history in helping business owners through a divorce and helping clients with other areas of divorce involving complex assets or issues with long term marriages.
Steve is a Columbus area native having grown up in Westerville and he graduated from Westerville High School. Steve obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University and he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo College of Law. Steve is a graduate of Leadership Worthington (2013).
Steve has been active in community affairs. Steve and his wife Rhonda are active at their church, the Linworth United Methodist Church. Steve has been involved as treasurer of his local civic association, and involved in the PTA at Granby Elementary. Steve has been active with the Worthington Noon Lions club, having served as President, Secretary, and on the Board of Directors. In 2016, Steve was awarded the International President's Award for Leadership from the Lions club. Steve regularly volunteers at the Worthington Food Pantry, the Special Olympics, the Ohio School for the Blind, and the Furniture Bank. Steve and his wife have also been very involved with the Worthington Kilbourne Marching Band Boosters.
Steve resides in Worthington, Ohio, with his wife Rhonda. Steve and Rhonda have three children and three grandchildren.
